Plastering & Rendering in West London

Smooth, flat, ready-to-paint finishes — skimming, re-plastering, boarding and rendering across Uxbridge, Hayes, Ruislip and beyond.

Flawless Walls & Ceilings, Ready to Decorate

Plastering is a trade where experience shows in the finish. Our plasterers deliver smooth, flat walls and ceilings that make decorating easy — no shadows, no hollows, no cracking a month later. We work in homes across West London every week, from 1930s semis in Ruislip and Ickenham to Victorian terraces in Southall and Ealing.

Much of West London's housing stock has old lath-and-plaster walls or tired artex ceilings. We can overboard and skim, remove or cover artex, and repair blown or water-damaged plaster so your walls look new again. For exteriors, we offer sand-and-cement rendering and patch repairs.

Every job is left clean: floors sheeted, dust controlled, and waste taken away. Your walls will be ready for a mist coat within days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our plastering & rendering service

How long does plaster take to dry before painting?

Fresh plaster usually needs 4–7 days to dry fully, depending on the weather and ventilation. It should then be sealed with a mist coat (watered-down emulsion) before painting — something we can take care of as part of our painting service.

Should I skim or re-plaster my walls?

If the existing plaster is sound but tired or uneven, a skim coat is usually enough. If it's blown (sounds hollow when tapped), crumbling or damp-damaged, re-plastering is the right fix. We'll assess honestly and quote for what the wall actually needs.

Is plastering messy? Will my house be covered in dust?

Plastering is a wet trade, but a tidy plasterer makes all the difference. We sheet floors and furniture, mask doorways where needed, and clean up completely at the end of each day.

Can you plaster over artex?

Yes — in most cases artex can be skimmed over after applying a bonding agent, giving you a smooth modern ceiling without the mess of full removal. We'll recommend the best approach when we see it.
